Artwall

Artwall is a thoughtful step toward integrating art into everyday spaces — broadening it from the confines of traditional galleries and placing it where people gather naturally. In collaboration with Topchi Outpost, Indxart Gallery introduces a permanent Artwall within the brewery’s vibrant social setting. This initiative offers a platform for rotating exhibitions, encouraging a wider audience to engage with visual art in a relaxed and informal environment.

In a city like Nashik, known for its rich heritage, spiritual energy, and growing urban culture, platforms like Artwall are essential. While the city has long fostered creativity through music, architecture, and craft, visual art has remained somewhat tucked away — often visible only to a niche audience. Indxart seeks to shift this dynamic by creating a visible, public-facing space for artistic expression that is both accessible and meaningful.

By situating art within a popular local venue, Indxart redefines how and where art can be experienced. It encourages spontaneous interaction, sparks conversation, and slowly weaves artistic awareness into the city’s everyday rhythm.

Artwall is not just an exhibition — it is open to its evolving future,  encouraging people to buy art of finest Indian artists. It a unique opportunity for young art collectors be a part of evolving art community.

Featured Artist

Ashok Dhivare is a senior artist based in Nashik, widely respected for his serene and introspective landscape paintings. Working in earthy, subdued palettes, his paintings capture the emotional atmosphere of place rather than literal geography—offering viewers a moment of quiet reflection.

Over the years, Dhivare has exhibited his work at prominent venues such as Indxart (Nashik), Jehangir Art Gallery (Mumbai) and Lalit Kala Akademi (New Delhi). His paintings have also found place in private collections across India, Europe, Singapore, and the UAE, earning him recognition for his meditative visual language and commitment to a deeply personal practice. His paintings are part of treasured private and institutional collections worldwide, reflecting a career that bridges local nuance with global resonance.

Dhivare’s work reflects not only his connection to the land but also to a lifelong discipline of painting as a mode of stillness and presence.

All artworks currently on display at Artwall at Topchi are available for purchase. This is a wonderful opportunity for young collectors or first-time buyers to begin their journey into owning original art. Each painting by Ashok Dhivre holds not just beauty, but a sense of place and stillness — making them ideal for thoughtful homes, studios, or personal corners where you want something meaningful to live with. You don’t need to be an art expert to start collecting. All you need is a connection to the work and the willingness to make space for it.
